Returns and Exchanges
We do not accept returns or give refunds. We offer store credit or exchange within 10 days. Merchandise must be returned unworn, unwashed and with original tags attached. Exchanges must include original packaging and will not be accepted without a receipt. The following items are FINAL SALE: Bodysuits, formal gowns, accessories, swimwear, seamless items, and sale Items.
Online Returns Procedure
Eligible items may be returned for Store Credit only.
Returns are allowed up to 10 days from the day it was received.
Items received after 10 days will not be accepted.
Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Essence reserves the right to refuse any return if the item does not fit the criteria listed above.
Returns will be processed within 7 business days.
Essence does not supply return labels.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON SALE ITEMS OR ACCESSORIES (I.E. JEWELRY, HATS, & BODYSUITS).
EVENING GOWNS ARE FINAL SALE.
If you purchased items online and you would like to exchange it, you can do so our West Bloomfield MI location for a STORE CREDIT within 10 days from the day it was received.
Pack your merchandise with care and we strongly recommend that you insure your return and get proof of delivery in case your package gets lost in transit;
Essence cannot take responsibility for items lost in transit or damaged due to improper packaging.
FOR RETURNS: CIRCLE THE ITEM(S) BEING RETURNED ON THE INVOICE, INCLUDE REASON; IE: FIT, NOT AS APPEARED ON WEB, COLOR, ETC. AND INCLUDE THE INVOICE IN THE SHIPMENT.

When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. You provide this information so we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.
Flat RATE $6 shipping on all orders placed within the US
We do not deliver on Saturday or Sundays. UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes.
All domestic packages are shipped via USPS; there are no Saturday or Sunday deliveries.
Transit time may be delayed due to:
Incomplete shipping address (i.e. missing or invalid apartment number/street number), weather conditions and/or high volume of packages
Not available at this time
Taxes and Duties
